VPN setting vanished from its control panel, uninstalled and upon attempting to redownload the installer, it was indicating 5 hours to finish downloading a microscopic 81MB little program.
To troubleshoot why this was downloading so slowly, I uninstalled a program from my PC like Audacity and Photoshop. and reinstalled them like I would with the McAfee program. The redownload/install of those two programs were lightning fast without issue. Running a google internet test it was determined that my speeds were very fast.
I soon discovered that accessing McAfee's website was going very slowly and having major hang-ups. To further test, I quickly opened a slew of random Tabs with various sites all at once and they all opened without issues. Youtube was running as smooth as butter.
However, McAfee's site was still having issues opening. Even now at 08:15pm, still having issues.
In conclusion, all signs and results of my troubleshooting tell me that McAfee is down at this current moment.
