Surprise my account was fixed, I can login now without any more issues trying to get a verification code sent to me via sms. So grateful for the time & effort.

I’m trying to log into my active instagram account through the app. But every time I do it, I keep getting this error message that says “sorry, there was a problem with your request.” Which is strange because not only is this still an active account, I do not have this problem with my other active accounts. I can only log into my main one through a web browser. I tried all the troubleshooting tips from the support page and every relevant YouTube video. I don’t know what else to do. I even logged into this account through through the app on a trusted friend’s phone to see if I can, and it turned out to be successful. Yet, I can’t do it with My phone.
I was able to create a new account through a web browser, but I had to switch the browser to “desktop mode” to make it work. But then I try to log in the app with that new profile, and it gives me the same problem as the main account. So now I know that the problem has to be within the app.
